Embrace The Camera

I'm hopping aboard the "Embrace The Camera" train.
The challenge from Emily of The Anderson Crew: get in front of the camera rather than being behind it.
I attempted to document a couch wrestling session with the boy. Am I happy with the way I look in this photo? Not especially, but I wouldn't trade this moment for anything. Ever try to hold a camera steady while a 2 1/2 year old attacks you? Didn't think so. heh.
Jellybean tried to get in on the action but alas, she is too little to get up on the couch, not that she didn't try.
I hope that my children will remember the day to day fun we had and that they won't remember a time when I was ever too busy to wrestle.

If you'd like to embrace your camera, link up here.

  1. Well said! I try and remember that my kids won't always want my full attention and that one day I'll be begging them to talk to me! Time goes too fast!

  2. Good for you! Capturing these awesome moments is what it's all about! Cute kiddos :)

  3. sweet shots!
    what cute kiddos!

  4. Totally know what you mean about juggling the camera and the kids. Hold on tight. Cute pics.

  5. So true! I want my son to always feel like I made time for him as well-not that I was ever too busy. Love this picture!

  6. i take so many photos that i am not happy with...but honestly, my kids WILL be happy with those.
and that's what keeps me embracing.

    glad you joined us!
