Winter Is Really Here

Last week Winter finally arrived.

Exhibit A: Hardworking D out shoveling snow

Exhibit B: Very interested and excited children, one drawing patterns on the door.

Exhibit C would have been said children playing in the snow, but our snowy adventure was such a bust that I have no pictures of it. After bundling both children up (30 mins later) we ventured out into the cold. We trundled down the sidewalk, Buddy tripped and fell into a snow bank and then I carried both children home (literally 5 mins after leaving the house).

Hooray for Winter!

Buddy-isms

He's two and a half and completely awesome.

Today during a car ride we hear from the back seat, "You gonna cry? You gonna cry, Jellybean? You gonna cry?" I guess the little sister taunting has begun.

A conversation from today:
D: "Buddy, where should we go today?"
Buddy: "Can we go to the store and look at clocks?"

Yes, the clock obsession continues and might I add, my child is amazingly articulate.

Buddy is starting to discover the joy of video games and can often be found holding a Wii remote waiting for his Dad to return from work so they can "play a game" together.
